What You Should Know

Many dental insurance policies include a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is separate from standard dental coverage. This benefit can meaningfully reduce your out-of-pocket costs, and it's important to understand exactly what your plan offers before treatment begins

Because insurance policies vary widely, we can provide a good-faith estimate of your coverage based on the information your provider gives us, though we are unable to guarantee specific coverage amounts due to the nature of insurance contracts. We'll always be upfront with you about what we know and what may still need to be confirmed.

How We Handle Your Claims

Once treatment begins, we take care of filing your insurance claims directly on your behalf. To help us do this accurately, we ask that you complete the insurance section of our new patient questionnaire at your first visit. This gives us what we need to get started on the right foot.

Orthodontic insurance benefits belong to you or your child, and we want to help you use them fully. If your insurance coverage changes at any point during treatment, please notify our office as soon as possible. If your benefits are reduced or discontinued mid-treatment, please be aware that the financial responsibility for any remaining balance rests with the guarantor on the account.
