Joanne Stewart
Joanne graduated from Green High School in 1998. While in her senior year, she earned her State Vocational Certificate from the Portage Lakes Career Center. She then received her associate's degree in Business Management from Stark State College of Technology. Joanne has been working at Spoonhower Orthodontics since its inception in 2006. Initially a reception specialist, she has transitioned to financial and insurance services. Additionally, Joanne has her radiology license. Her roles include office managerial tasks, receptionist, treatment conferences, designating financial arrangements and assisting our families in submitting insurance claims. She lives in Green and enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and fur babies
Alisha Wright
Alisha was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Being a military child, she has lived all over including Louisiana, Oklahoma and Germany! She graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1992. She then worked for 12 years at Concordia Theological Seminary Library as the acquisitions assistant. Her husbands' job relocated them to Ohio in July 2010. Alisha joined Team Spoon in August 2011. She has transitioned to become our scheduling coordinator. Her responsibilities include appointment confirmation, appointment scheduling and insurance benefits. She will be the smiling face you see as you first enter our office. Alisha lives in Uniontown and enjoys gourmet cooking, running and spending time with her family.
Jean Hunkele
After graduating in 1988 from Regina High School in South Euclid, Ohio, Jean attended Bowling Green State University. She joined Team Spoon in 2017 as our Treatment Coordinator. Jean brings to us over twenty years of orthodontic office experience, including treatment plan consulting, chairside assisting, and administrative duties. She is a Dental Assisting National Board Certified Orthodontic Assistant, a credential that requires her to annually obtain continuing education requirements. In addition, she maintains a dental radiography license from The Ohio State Dental Board and is CPR certified. Jean and her husband have two sons and one daughter. She enjoys traveling, running, yoga, and family vacations at the beach.
Brittany Westfall
Brittany graduated from Springfield High School in 2008 followed by Modern Dental Concepts in 2014. She is CPR certified and has her radiology license. She joined Team Spoon in 2021. Brittany is an orthodontic assistant with a wide range of dental experience - including general dentistry, endodontics, and her absolute favorite - orthodontics. She loves spending time with her husband and two young boys outdoors. She is also very competitive in sports, so if we ever have a friendly game of staff vs patient dodgeball again.....watch out for her!
Heather VanDress
Heather graduated from Hudson High school in 2002. She immediately started a career in Banking for 10 years until she decided that she wanted to stay home with her two kids. Heather obtained her license in Real Estate in 2019 from Hondros Business College. She moved to Green in 2020 and absolutely loves it here! Heather is the latest addition to our office, having joined Team Spoon in January 2022 as an orthodontic assistant. She is enjoying broadening her career in the dental field and looks forward to meeting all of you! Heather spends her time outside of work with her family and watching her kids play sports. She also enjoys taking weekend trips to ride the Hatfield McCoy trails in her side by side. She loves a good board game and playing Euchre with friends.
Merri Kever
Merri is the newest Team Spoon member. She graduated from Stellarton High School in 1998 in Nova Scotia, Canada. She then went on to graduate from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2000 as a Certified Dental Assistant. She is radiology, CPR, and first aid certified. Merri has many years of experience in general dentistry, but has been loving her transition to orthodontics this past year! Merri lives in Green with her husband Andrew and their four active kids. In her spare time, Merri loves traveling, running, and hiking with her kids.
Tiffany Leonard
Tiffany grew up in Green, and graduated from Green High School in 1999. Right after high school she went on to attend the Portage Lakes Career Center where she studied and completed Computerized Business Technology. She then went back in 2003 to study and complete a Pharmacy Technician course. Tiffany started working for Spoonhower Orthodontics in April of 2024. Tiffany lives here in Green with her husband. She enjoys spending all her extra time with her husband and her family. She looks forward to the family beach trips every September, and the weekend getaways every November with her husband. She also enjoys music, cooking, and running.
Alyssa Dysle
Orthodontic AssistantAlyssa graduated from East Canton High School in 2013, followed by getting her Associate of Science in Dental Assisting from Stark State College in 2018. She is CPR certified, has her radiology license, and CODA certification. Alyssa joined Team Spoon in 2025 as an orthodontic assistant, bringing a wide range of dental knowledge with her. She loves spending her days cooking, outside taking walks, hiking, and enjoying nature. Her family, loved ones, and cat Nugget are the most important things to her.
